PCB and Project Laboratory

Scope: The scope of this laboratory is to teach students the different stages involved in the making of a Printed Circuit Boards and to practically perform the basics of Colour and B/W TV.  

Unique Features:  Students are exposed to profession industry process of manufacturing Printed circuit boards. Students gets Hands on experience to handle all machines to do all processes from copper clad cleaning, circuit printing, etching, drilling to soldering.

Communication Engineering Laboratory

Scope: The communication engineering laboratory focuses on design and experimentation on Analog and Digital Communication topics like Amplitude Modulation (AM), Frequency Modulation (FM), Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) etc.

Unique Features:  Students are exposed to Hands on Training on different communication techniques governing Analog and Digital Communication.

Computer Lab

Scope: The objective of this lab is to perform software based practicals in related subjects. It also aims at providing knowledge of emerging open source technologies to Students and expose students to open source soft wares.

Digital Electronics and Microcomputer Laboratory

Scope: This laboratory emphasizes on design and experimentation on topics like Microcontroller, Microprocessor and Digital Electronics.

Unique Features:  Students are exposed to Hands on Training on 8085, 8086, ARM processor Arduino and various logic gates IC’s.

Major Instruments: 8085, 8086 educational kits, Arm Processor, Arduino boards, and Digital electronics educational kits.

Elecronics Instrumentation Laboratory

Scope: The Laboratory covers all the experiments related to various topics of Electronics & Measuring Instruments such as LVDT, RTD Thermocouples etc.
 

Unique Features: Experiments and projects are designed on basic electronics circuits like Wein Bridge, Wheatstone Bridge etc.

Electrical Engineering Laboratory

Scope: This laboratory emphasizes on design and experimentation on topics like Basic Electrical, Power Electronics & AC Motors.

Unique Features:  Students are exposed to Hands on Training on Single Phase power measurement, and verifying various network theorems and motor fundamentals.

Electronic Circuit Laboratory

Scope: The objective of this laboratory is to link the theoretical concepts of different Analog Electronics circuits with practical feasibility.

Unique Features:  Students are exposed to design and analysis of Analog circuits. Students are also encouraged to perform mini projects on topics of practical relevance.

Major Instruments: Digital Storage Oscilloscope. Function Generator, Dual Power Supply.

Microwave Engineering & Radio Frequency Laboratory

 

Scope: The Microwave and Radio Frequency Communication laboratory is specialized in RF, Microwave, Antennas and Optical Communication.

Unique Features: This lab provides exposure to Students to design microstrip antennas and can find the radiation pattern of designed antenna on antenna measurement system.
