Algorithms and Complexity Theory Lab Focuses on providing environment where students can determine the inherent difficulty of computational problems, classifying problems according to this inherent difficulty, and designing and analysing algorithms that use computational resources as efficiently as possible.

The Institute has a well- developed Central Computing Center. The Central Computing facility is maintained to fulfill general computing needs of both, students and teachers. The institution recognizes the key role IT plays in teaching, learning and in research. Therefore, Central Computing Center is committed to provide computing facilities of the highest standards. It consists of more than 150 core i3 and above machines, all licensed software and allied equipment, which makes it a resourceful node of service.

APSIT provides a wide range of Info-Tech facilities and services with a state of the art Networking environment to support all stake holders for betterment of Learning, Research, Teaching and Administrative processes. Entire Intranet is facilitated with Structured cabling and all departments are connected to Centralized Server Room. More than 50 Gigabit Ethernet switches connects around 700+ workstation/nodes in campus ensuring local connectivity of each machine at 1Gbps /100 Mbps speed.

Data science & Analytics lab focuses on methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge or insights from data in various forms, either structured or unstructured.  It also aims at giving exposure to students regarding  analysing large-scale text streams such as news, blogs, and social media to identify trends by using Open Source Frameworks available.

The state – of -the – art language laboratory which has been established aims at facilitating the learners to gain mastery in the use of English. It enables the students to expedite the process of improving learning skill with more emphasis on LSRW (Learning, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) leading to desirable employability. The language lab intends to develop the confidence level of students and it would motivate them to use their language skills outside the classroom as well. The technology thus fulfills all the needs of language learners and educators.

The objective of Network Design and Analysis Lab is to demonstrate the basics of designing a network,taking into consideration the users,services and locations of the hosts. It also focuses on optimizing design of Network through repeated simulations with the aid of Open source simulation frameworks like NS2.

Open Source Technologies Lab aims at providing knowledge of emerging open source technologies to Students and expose students to open source soft wares. Students can have  access to Courses covering Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, Red Hat JBoss® Middleware administration and development, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack® Platform administration, depending on their interests as a part of Red Hat Academy Program.

The objective of Operating System Design Lab is to let students understand and appreciate the principles in the design and implementation of operating systems. In this lab on Linux environment students get hands on with the implementation of OS concepts. Lab assignments includes experiments on  understanding,customizing booting procedure of operating system &  experiments on Network Installation, VNC Installation, Clone Installation of OS.

Software Development & Operations Lab aims at giving exposure to students to an environment where building, testing, and releasing software, can happen rapidly, frequently, and more reliably. It also emphasises on modernizing, rebuilding & optimizing Apps and Infrastructure during Software Development and Deployment.

Structured and Object Oriented Programming Lab emphasises to familiarise students with the logic of structured and object oriented programming approach. It also aims at providing exposure in developing algorithm, flowchart and thereby writing efficient codes for user defined problem.

System & Network Security Lab focuses on articulating the need for cyber security in computer systems, networks, and world wide web. It also focuses on Demonstration & Orchestration of various threat scenarios, Network attacks. This Lab also give emphasis on discovering cyber security holes in standard networking protocols, both in network architecture, standard protocols (such as TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, Ethernet, BGP etc), & demonstrating mitigation methods for same.
