The Cyber Security Club at APSIT, Thane, under the guidance of Prof. Manjusha Kashilkar and Prof. Randeep Kaur Kahlon, organized a Cybersecurity Awareness Session at Terna Engineering College as part of its Social Outreach Program. The session educated non-technical staff on cyber hygiene, including strong passwords, multi-factor authentication, software updates, and safe online behavior. Key threats like phishing, data breaches, and online fraud were discussed, along with the importance of incident response and reporting. Student coordinators from Cyber Security Clubconducted live demonstrations and real-world examples to enhance understanding. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A, equipping participants with practical cybersecurity knowledge.
