
The seminar was conducted to provide SE students in the IT department with a comprehensive understanding of Java basics, GUI development, and practical project implementation. Prakruti Bhavsar and Urvi Joshi, students from TE-IT, came forward to guide the students of SE-IT. They explained Java programming and how to make GUI-based
applications in Java. Speaker outlined essential Java components such as the Java Virtual Machine (JVM), Java Runtime Environment (JRE), and Java Development Kit (JDK), the foundational blocks of Java. They also distinguished Java from JavaScript. They introduced user-friendly tools (frameworks) to simplify Java programming. They proceeded to demonstrate the usage of specialized software tools like Eclipse and NetBeans, aiding error-free Java coding and efficient project management.
