On 24 March 2023 A. P. Shah Institute of Technology, Thane - APSIT   had organised Webinar on "Opportunities in Sponsored Research & Consultancy for Academic Institutes" for APSITians. We had a great session with Dr. Gopakumaran Thampi  ( Principal & Research Center Head, Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Mumbai) discussing Opportunities in Sponsored Research & Consultancy which can be explored by Engineering Institutes. It was an enlightening talk that shed light on the potential for academic institutions to generate revenue and create impactful research through sponsored research and consultancy. APSIT,Thane  is grateful for the actionable advice Dr. Gopakumaran Thampi  Sir provided on how to identify, pursue, and get research grants and consultancy projects. APSIT THANE  positively & proactively look forward for implementing  suggestions given during webinar and exploring new opportunities for our institution into this domain.
